We are caught in an alternate universe in the US that is like a terrifying spy movie - pick one - that we cannot get out of. Every day is a serialized episode whose final outcome is yet to be seen. We can only guess at how all of this madness is going to end. You don't know what to trust, who to trust, where truth or fiction begins or ends. Down is up, up is down, forward is backward, backward is forward. Like being in a hall of mirrors.

1. I know-- I had a moment today where I felt like crying

In some ways, this is the most fun adventure-- all the clues, the revelations-- but then today I thought, my god, the country 'elected' a man who has no sense of honor or duty... and he sold the country out. And all those people around him-- rich, powerful men, who benefitted so greatly from living in this country-- joined right in.

It's... hurtful. I know many who voted for him will never give him up-- but do they hurt too? Any of them? Do they wonder how this man could have done this to our country?
