Rachel is missing it

The Russians suing Manafort are pretending to be victims. Manafort was holding laundered money and now that he is going to jail they are suing to get the money back before the Feds seize it.

I could be wrong. I thought they announced they would be attempting to seize. I think the oligarchs are trying to establish prior rights to the property by civil judgment.
