I really haven't watched much TV in the past year but do turn it on for breaking news. Why Ari had that crazy on (although I expect that is a producer decision) is beyond me (outside of "ratings" ).

This is a terrific road map for how to conduct an interview.

Melber is asking very tough questions with an even tone. He goes back to the same question over and over since Arpaio tried to sidestep the questions. Lots of fodder for Arpaio's opponent in the election.

the Dems will likely win. He couldn't win Maricopa County the last time he ran. That's the county that gave the single greatest number of Drumpt votes than any other county in the nation. If Arpaio can't win Maricopa County there's no chance he can win here.

Ari crushed this turd. Clearly had him frustrated and wouldn’t let him away with stuff. He challenged the supposed law enforcement officer on why he says he’s so ‘tough’ on crime till he’s the one broken the law. Then he got him to admit he’s just a Trump lackey at the end when he was cornered and had to say that he’d support Trump no matter what.

This interview gave me some hope, because as horrible as he is it’s clear he had nothing. He ain’t ready for a full campaign. Might get the nomination but he’ll go down like Roy Moore when it comes to it.
