On my Mother' s side my Great and Greatgrandparents came over on a boat.

They came looking for a better life.

Their grandchildren served in the in WW1, WW2 and Korea.

F**k you Trump in the name of my family members I never knew who were brave enough to get on that boat.

The native Americans may not have considered them as being from s***hole countries, but surely would have been happier if they never arrived.

Came early or were native americans.

Look up the Battle of the Cowpens.

My cousin did a family tree search and found this out.

My Father' side came very early and were shooting from behind the rocks and trees at the British in the south.

I have a really mixed family tree.

I wonder what all those people would think now.

We give you country and this happens.

Good family tree there.

that all it would have taken would have been for one of those ancestors to have perished just a bit earlier, had the misfortune of being a war fatality, etc., and you/I would not be here.

He was shot in leg and almost died.

His buddies patched him up and captured two German soldiers to carry him back on a rifle.

He spent almost a year in hospitals.

His family was told he had died.

He kept his leg and walked with a limp.

Came close to no mother being born.
