Trump hates being President

Take some comfort in the fact that Trump hates being President. All those meetings, and people asking him to understand
things and read things. He just wants to go to mar-a-largo and play golf. The campaign was fun, the rallies and shit. But actually
running the government? No way. Time for dinner and bed. He's a worthless fuck, and be happy about that. He's no Hitler.
Soon he will be flushed down the toilet of history, as he should be. The sooner the better. Everybody is on to him now, and there is no way he will run in 2020. He might win, and that would be more work. Forget that!

Loves the fact that when he send a twitter the whole world obsesses over it for days.

But he hates to be mocked. We need to double down underscore the mockery.

...looking in the mirror, and saying "I'm the President," is drowned out by the immediate assault of different things being asked of him. He delegates everything so he doesn't have to deal with it. As far as I'm concerned John Kelly is running our government. Trump will gut some thing here or there out of childish hatred, but John Kelly is the one who manages what comes across his radar, which can't be much, since he watches Fox News all day and goes on more golfing excursions than any President in history.

Rump salivates at the chance to wield the power the presidency gives him, against his perceived enemies.
Everything is about payback and revenge. There is no concern for anyone but himself.

He derives no enjoyment from his work, his family, his friends or any of the simple pleasures I enjoy every day. He has no desire to learn or to see the world beyond the Trump empire. He lives to be praised and to confront his enemies. He could have almost anything and yet he lives in fear of being poisoned or contracting diseases. He eats disgustingly bad food. I don’t know if he enjoys music but, given the time he spends watching Fox News, I doubt he knows how to relax to good music. We know he doesn’t read. He will die a miserable pathetic excuse for a human being. His joyful life may hasten his dismal demise. I believe he will resign well before his first term expires.

If he experienced worry, or fear, or anxiety, or self-consciousness, or empathy to any measurable degree, he wouldn’t be the King Asshole that he is. He’s remarkably simple: he wants his junk food, his TV, his golf, his “executive time,” his money, and NONE OF IT brings him any joy or satisfaction whatsoever.

On some base level, he appears to enjoy conflict and chaos, as if those were “normal” states for him. But even all that— the lawsuits, the yelling and screaming, etc.— could merely be an aspect of his obvious cognitive decline.

He’s always been a miserable, vain and extremely self-centered human being; but as his mental abilities decline, any buffers or filters he may have possessed are long gone. His supporters claim to love the way he “tells it like it is,” when, in fact, he unfailingly tells it like it isn’t.

and that's not counting the Mueller investigation. I still think he'll declare victory at some point prior and quit, thinking the hounds won't keep after him if he just leaves. Particularly if the mid terms are as much a blood bath as it appears they will be. I think the relief from such a move is too much for him to resist. He's made strategic blunders like that many times in the past, ignoring relatively sane advice. I don't think he fully understands that once you're in the DOJ's cross hairs, you can't just walk away. And his legal team aren't a bunch or Rhodes Scholars either.

Just let him hang out at his castle and play golf. Totally superfluous.

He loves being the most important person in the room. In his mind, he's the only one that matters. This is the ultimate feed to the insatiable ego he has. He loves it more than he can stand.

But he doesn't like the work part of it. No problem. He simply doesn't do the work part. He doesn't read. He doesn't write. He doesn't hold detailed discussions or meetings. He doesn't study who he appoints to positions.

This is the ultimate reality show for him. He's eating it up and working it to the hilt, savoring every minute, using every ounce of power it's given him.

The article where he tells Congress basically "I have other stuff - way more important stuff - to do" and makes Pence the acting President. Then he can golf, hold rallies, eat really good chocolate cake, etc. basically a vacation among his adoring deplorables to stoke his ego.

Win-win in his mind; he never resigns, and somebody else has to clean up the mess.

There are more similarity with Hitler than you think. Hitler also didn’t choose to do the heavy lifting of governing; Hitler also got rich from being in charge; Hitler wanted to be the leader and have everyone adore him; Hitler lied and demanded obedience from everyone; Hitler corrupted the police / judicial and military; There are more similarities than not, but the biggest difference is that Hitler had competence people helping him screw the nation - Trump does not (at this time).

But once Trump replaces the military working at the WH - then he can probably get the war that he wants to show how strong he is - and given the nature of this GOP - maybe ethnic cleansing too.

So sad.
