Adam Schiff nails it

Adam Schiff

@RepAdamSchiff
What passes for logic in the Oval Office:

Republicans control the Senate.
Republicans control the House.
Republicans control the White House.
Last year, @POTUS tweeted that we need a “good shutdown.”

If government closes, who’s responsible? Democrats!

And, thank you for actually posting the text of the tweet -I've been frustrated since they blocked Twitter in my office late last summer or early fall and only some DUers do that.

Then they get elected and prove it.

I always thought it was curious that Ronald Reagan said "government is the problem", and yet he wanted to be in charge of it. I always point this out to Reaganites and they have no explanation.

They want to oppress. They need to go, one by one. I think this will be the year that the people will show them what they think of them. They have pushed us to the limit.

is that you obliged to govern. If breaks, you did it.

The Repugnants are not conditioned to governance, only obstruction. Now the Repugnants obstruct themselves.

that can be played over and over on radio and mainstream TV. No more mealy mouthed diplomatic, level headed responses as the usual Dem responses. The Repugs connect with those who don't have the time or inclination to thoroughly research/understand issues. They all repeat the same sound bites over and over and it works. It is a consistent message across all of them. Time for the Dems to start calling out the absolute absurdity of the Repugs with simple, cutting sound bites like this instead of thinking the calm, reasoned blah, blah, blah answers will get through to most Americans.
