11. I believe our party leadership sees more value in letting Trump stay on.

With control of Congress, they could block the worst of what he wants to do, and put enormous investigative pressure on him. But I think they like the idea of letting him run for re-election in 2020, thinking he will be easier to beat than anyone else the Repubs put up, especially a President Pence.
