Kevin Swanson: Feminist The Last Jedi Is What Movies Produced By A Dying Civilization Look Like

Having last week railed against the film “The Shape Of Water” for supposedly promoting “cross-species mating,” extremist anti-LGBTQ pastor Kevin Swanson turned his attention to the newest Star Wars film, “The Last Jedi,” on today’s radio program.

Predictably, Swanson was not impressed with the film’s “feminist edge” or its basic “violation of the biblical ordinance that the husband is head of the wife.”

“The feminists are head over heels in love with this one,” Swanson lamented. “It’s a bit of a feminist fest with very little artistic story telling involved … It was a great vehicle to continue to educate the world towards feminism, and feminism is ultimately the individuation of the family, the destruction of the family, and the violation of the biblical ordinance that the husband is head of the wife. So that is fundamentally being eroded in the minds of our 13-and 14-year-old girls as they watch these movies.”

“You can thoroughly expect the unraveling of the Christian family in the years to come if the Christian family is sitting their children at the feet of feminists and receiving the messages,” Swanson said, as he railed against the film for featuring several female characters in lead roles “defending the universe from the bad guys.”

“Friends,” he said, “this is what the last movies produced by a dying civilization look like.”

Once again, Kevin, you missed the part where the Last Jedi is a movie.

I can happily endorse their unraveling.

"Christian" of course, in this sense is that fuck-wad's idea of a christian family.

I will have no problem laughing at him if, some day, he needs rescuing of some sort but refuses to be rescued by a woman. I'll laugh even louder if he accepts her help and proves his hypocrisy.

It’s the Jeff Epstein saga.

It's by far the worst Star Wars movie ever made.

There are a lot of people who feel the same way - And I'm not sure if they are "alt-right" or liberals. LOL

The Finn scenes with the Asian girl in the casino were a waste and borefest, so were the scenes with Rey and Luke. Disney has bent Star Wars over the barrel and fucked it pretty hard this go around.

It was the first Star Wars movie ever where I found myself checking my watch, only to discover to my horror that there were still 45 minutes (and at least three more endings) left. By the end of the thing, my eyes were almost as bloodshot as Poe Dameron's. (What the hell was up with that guy's eyes? Is that part of his character? Does the Rebellion keep him up at night? Is he allergic to the lining in his helmet? Is he a pothead? They have laser swords, but they haven't figured out eyedrops in the Star Wars universe?)

I'm happy about the feminist characters, but that doesn't give it a free pass to be an overall obnoxious and, yet, dull movie.

I didn't care for any of the characters - And I'm not going to applaud the feminist characters for being in a lousy movie. If the script was worth a shit I would be the first to sing its praises.

13. Forget Feminist Movies; Go After Conservatives Who Cannot Stay Married
Fri Jan 19, 2018, 06:55 PM
Jan 2018

What is really causing the breakdown of the family is Conservatives who claim to have family values, but cannot stop cheating their spouse and dumping them for newer better models. This man should direct his aim at Newt Gingrich, Paula White, Donald Trump, and many other so called Conservative Republicans who cannot stay married and allegedly constantly cheat on their spouses. In addition, he should blame Conservative families and tell them to start taking responsibility for their actions.

Hollywood cannot forces you, or your children to act a certain way. If you want your kids to act a certain, way raise them that way and live that way yourself. It is somewhat hard to tell a kid to either do something, or to not do something when you, the parent, refuses to do the action, or are always engaging in that action.

I have never been a big fan of Conservatives blaming all of America's problems on Hollywood. Hollywood is not to blame for how you and your children act; that is your responsibility. Conservatives need to start calling on Conservative parents to do their jobs of raising their kids and being role models for their kids.

At the end of the day Conservatives need to stop attacking Liberals and Hollywood and start focusing on themselves. Conservatives need to start calling out Conservatives who are not keeping their families together, especially for silly reasons like the wife is not good enough to be a first lady.

There is an example of a Christian female hero if he wants one and she was real too and not a fictional character like Rey from Star Wars. But something tells me that Swanson would be angry about a Joan of Arc movie too.
