When I was a teenager, I participated in a youth program that was developed by a fraternal organization called the Oddfellows. The program was developed to honor FDR, an Oddfellow, and it exposed high schoolers to the UN and also provided an amazing American History tour. Well one night during that tour, all of us were broken up and hashed out to various houses of fraternal members. That night I had one of the best spaghetti dinners I’d ever had...at a home outside Philly! To this day, I’m still in contact with that family. The next morning I was served fried eggs and scrapple...an amazing breakfast meat I still love today. As my 15 yr old self kept bragging about how great the scrapple was, the crusty old grandfather of the fam goes...”Glad you like it, if you want to always like it, don’t ever ask what’s in it!”
That’s the God’s honest truth...legislation is much the same. At the end of the day, fuck it if that shithead gets his wall/fence....lets fight for the Dreamers and CHIP kids and worry about the details once we take the House in 2018!!!
