Don't let them take you into the weeds.
Refuse to engage with any "waddabouts" or "If Democrats would just---" conversations. The Republicans control the House, the Senate and the White House and THEY have totally failed to pass or even consider a bipartisan deal which Democrats would have supported.
This is simple, people. Don't let them complicate it.
