When I Woke Up This AM - I Expected To See Coverage Of Women Marching All Around This Country.....

and much to my disappointment - little to no coverage yet. I'm hoping the news shows quit talking about Trump's tweets and this shutdown (sh*tdown) and start focusing on this Women's March.

My non-political friends were all fired up after the Con's inauguration & marched & went to postcard writing parties. Six months later they couldn't be bothered to call their reps about the ACA.

A field reporter was talking to marchers headed to NYC on the "Peace Train" . But, yeah, not that much coverage. Maybe there will be more as the day progresses.

Can’t estimate crowd size from inside it but looks like it’s exceeding what organizers hoped for

At least 250,000 were on The Mall to protest the war and if you weren't watching THAT DAY you missed it.

the news shows are starting to cover the March now. Initially - all they talked about was the Sh*tdown and Trump's tweets.

I was hoping for a bigger turnout this year than last - so we could rub Trump's face in that too.
