Wow, please pay attention to

the man behind the curtain and be memorized by the all encompassing shut down coverage. Fight, fight, fight....

But don' t be surprised when the 2018 midterms find missing votes that were not cast for fear of being prosecuted and deported if they do not meet their definition of legal resident. Also, they could arrest, charge and convict those who tried to protect them from prosecution and deportation.

Without the restraint of DACA to protect dreamers and their families, fear will cause many legal voters to avoid casting a ballot.

Also, Trump and the republican controlled congress will have the legal authority to raid state election offices and political party headquarters in a nation wide sweep to capture and deport.

State, county and city officials could be arrested, removed from office and jailed for protecting "criminals". Imagine the republicans and Trump turning the states of their political adversaries into occupied territories. Kind of hard to execute a national campaign while your rebuilding organizations all over the country.

I think too much attention is being focused on the surface while the perception of stupidity and incompetence is providing the cover needed to catch you off guard. 2018 is not going to be blue wave if that wave is deported, arrested, jailed and afraid to go to the polls.

Now if you think republicans want to bar immigrants from coming to America, you are too near sighted to win this battle. The truth likely resembles a swap, your immigrants for their own. They don't want to stop mexicans from voting, just stop them for voting democrat.

Trump and the republicans have controll and are becoming bolder. It doesn't matter if anyone believes the media reports of a growing economy and jobs. They themselves believe they are getting good results. With that in mind, they will use their perception of success to tread more boldly.

If you don't regroup, start playing like your behind and still needing to win more hearts and minds , you will miss the opportunity to gain ground and recapture control.

The new tax scheme is a calculated offensive designed to delay pain just long enough to sway voters away from the. Party. Many of the moves Trump and republicans have made are intended to separate blue collar democrats from the democratic party. I have a co-worker who lost a lot of 401k gains during 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq , the 08 economic collapse...... He doesn't like Trump but he does like his 401k gains. He's having mixed emotions regarding the next election. The thought of democratic voters willfully skipping elections or even voting for another party is not a concern of republicans and if you are not concerned about losing them now, it will be too late for tears later....

If you have any trouble digesting what I have said,
I can sum it up for you in one sweet sentence.

If you think your opponent is sleeping, your dreaming.
Wake up!

that the economic collapse of 2008 was under GW Bush--a Republican-- and that the majority of the gains in his 401k have been under Barack Obama--a Democrat--AND that historically the stock market has done better when Democrats control the White House. Google is your friend. Look it up.

I do agree though that we are fighting for the soul of the country. For Democrats, it's not all about money. We need to remember the values in which we believe. Resist!

than I do. He will not vote republican under any circumstance. But his 401k has more influence right now. Another related factor his ethnicity. He is black and the topic of immigration is not a given. He is split between civil rights and competition for good paying jobs. Sadly he feels his employment opportunities and wages could improve if their were less foriegn competition. He's a good friend, but he is also very persistent. Right now he is 5-7 yrs away from retirement and his eyes are locked on his 401k. He has always been a loyal voter. It's was a shock to hear him struggling between options that normally are no brainers for him.
