Once it was clear trump is a lying, senile buffoon on this and most issues, it was time to decouple the issues.

The Democrats better never, ever, call me again asking for money. I wouldn't trust McConnell as far as I could throw him, the very idea that the republicans will come back by Feb 8th and "do something" about the dreamers doesn't mean anything. One of their proposals was to allow the dreamers to stay but never become citizens. They're afraid that they will lose 700,000 some voters.
Why Schumer thinks that there will be fair debate about the dreamers is disgusting.
