Call me petty, but ruining Dotard's anniversary was worth a shutdown

As a 32 year fed employee that has been thru the grief of a furlough/shutdown, I couldn't be happier that Dear Leader had his party ruined. There was minimal damage to the fed workforce and the general public, so thumbing our nose at him coupled with the women's march is a pretty sweet victory.

Just want the energy to sweep out the trash in Nov.

If McConnell let that shutdown happen to keep Trump from that party.

The optics on that appearance would have been disastrous, coming so close to the tax giveaway to the rich.
