Kill me for not wanting to punish Schumer
CHIPS is the reason I am a Democrat. I am not going to hate someone for not having the stomach to play chicken with child abductors. I don't have the stomach for it either. Would it be so bad to go on FTN and MTP on Sunday and just admit you could not sleep if CHIPS had not been secured? And you were sick to your stomach about federal employees not paying their mortgages? And you have no f'g clue what motivates the sociopaths on the other side but you will continue to fight for decency?
Per Joe Biden, "show me your budget and I will show you where your heart lies."

1. Exactly we are the DEMOCRATIC PARTY.
I am sick a tired of hearing leftist whine.
They sound like "What have the Romans ever done for us." BESIDES SOCIAL SECURITY, MEDICARE, MEDICAID, CIVIL RIGHTS, VOTING RIGHTS, THE ACA being health care to 20 million Americans, WHAT HAVE DEMOCRATS EVER DONE for us. |

2. DACA was brought to everyone's attention. Children's healthcare has 6 years of funding, the
election is this year.
We did what we needed to do, and most who look at the situation objectively realize that |

5. Repubs were hoping they could let DACA die quietly...
By bringing it up like he did, Schumer ensured that we would be talking about it all summer.

7. My reasons for being a Democrat all stem from my
core principles and wishes for my nation, never one goal or leader. I joined to maximize my voice but only became proud of belonging to our predominantly liberal party decades later as I understood our history far better. Liberalism, working under the Democratic Party label for the past century, has always been integral, the dominating spirit, crucial to the development and protection of everything good about our governance.
Sadly, the loudest, angriest noises in any era are from those who lack the conviction and commitment to principles necessary in a world where advances are always long and hard in achieving, and always imperfect. Their constant frustrated noise is the sound of their imagined failures, while stronger and less foolish people continue to press on for progress. |
