(7,715 posts)For all things, simplicity of the message is the most effective way to communicate and advocate.
As Sly Stone once said about his songs, "I write so that even dummies understand"....if the Dems can simplify their messages at all levels, they can get a huge amount accomplished.

No, the Pai FCC is enforcing a monopoly on the US. Almost seems like this administration is trying to cripple the US economy.....
Oh, of course.

(32,793 posts)take on an issue totally unrelated to your business and hope the action goes viral. The subliminal "I love my Whopper" is working here too. This is really clever (and underhanded). I do approve -- wonderful demonstration.

(1,278 posts)More companies should apply this tact to a subject that stirs passion, such as Net Neutrality. If they happen to make a few extra bucks doing so, a bonus. The right thing will always win in the end.

I'll make sure to have two Whoppers tomorrow.

(23,656 posts)I am sure of it. Where I live Comcast has partnered with Netflix, so they offer the Netflix App on their platform, you can search and access your Netflix account on the cable box. I also have the Amazon App on my Smart TV, when I stream Amazon shows, it is absolutely slow as heck and no bandwidth left over to efficiently surf the web on my phone. I use the check my speed website and it's much lower seemingly when I stream Amazon.

(36 posts)Without net neutrality, ISPs can hold their customers hostage, even the ones paying high prices. They do this by demanding money from companies to avoid throttling of their content. Doesnt matter how much the customer pays the ISP, they are still throttled if the website has not paid additional money to the ISPs.
You can use the Wehe app (android and iOS devices) to see if your ISP is throttling.
