http://deadline.com/2018/01/murphy-brown-revival-candice-bergen-creator-diane-english-cbs-2018-2019-season-1202267897/Bergen will reprise her role as the famous investigative journalist and TV anchor at the FYI network, as Murphy Brown returns to a world of cable news, social media, fake news and a very different political and cultural climate. I hear talks are underway with other original cast members to return.
The multi-camera revival will come on the 30th anniversary of the original series, Murphy Brown aired on CBS for 10 seasons, from 1988-1998, with English leaving after Season 4. The show was known for its political satire and for reflecting current events, regularly weaving in real-life political headlines. It was famously referenced by Vice President Dan Quayle in a speech during the 1992 presidential campaign.

Due to the heavy use of music this show isn't in syndication so I miss this show so much.

It's one of those sub-channels of broadcast TV. Fox I think.

Might've been one of the first signs that I was interested in politics, actually! I'm just about to turn 33, so I wasn't exactly of typical political person age in the 90s.
