SNL pretty lame last nite...

some of the skits could have been written in 1982....cornball old person humor....not cutting edge...and this is a 66 year old speaking...the young ones can't relate to that crap. 2017 was pretty good....this year downhill so far.

If I was Lorne Michaels, I would have Kate McKinnon in almost every skit.

Just this week we got 'revisionist history' going on the popularity of Bush 2.0. Timely.

SNL has always had a particular slant on humor - what would a stoned, buzzed viewer think is funny late on a Saturday night? I'd say, just about anything. That's a trademark of SNL.

4. Ferrells Bush opening was the only funny bit.

And that “music” made my ears bleed.
But, then, I hate almost all country music.

9. Yep. Sturgill Simpson blew my mind

11. Personally, I enjoyed the extreme nonsense last night

I needed a break from the gloom and doom of the news and the state of the country. The silliness was appreciated.

14. Will Ferrell seemed to be in every skit

He's not as talented as he thinks he is. Other than playing Bush he's pretty uninspiring.

Plus he had had a lousy face lift. I didn't recognize him during the opening.

Even Weekend Update was weak this week.

15. I used to work in the cosmetic field

I spotted the bad plastic surgery immediately...It was just a really bad show last nite. Farrell does slapstick,,,so that is where the writers went.
