If you think the sexual assaults on the campus of Mich St

are isolated incidences, you are living in a cave. If you think Nassar was the only guilty party here, you are also mistaken.

"A special prosecutor will investigate Michigan State University "from the president's office down" over how former MSU sports physician Larry Nassar could have sexually abused girls and young women for nearly 20 years without university action, Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette said Saturday."

"My department ... will find out who knew what and when, who took action, who failed to take action, what did or did not happen, and what should have happened," Schuette said at a news conference in Lansing.
"No individual and no department at Michigan State University is off-limits."

Schuette's statement comes a day after two prominent Michigan State coaches, longtime basketball coach Tom Izzo and football coach Mark Dantonio said they will not step down.

In response to allegations in an ESPN report of a pattern of suppression of reports of sexual assault, violence, and gender discrimination by university officials, including the athletics department, Izzo said Friday night, "We will cooperate with any investigation going forward as we have always done."
When asked about reports that he would be leaving the university, Izzo said, "Well, I'm not going anywhere, in my mind. I'm definitely not retiring."

"We're going to put a bright light ... at every corner of the university. This will be done right, period," Schuette said.

I certainly HOPE they will find ALL the roaches when they turn this "bright light" on the athletics program. Maybe it will make OTHER coaches and programs think twice about covering up the sexual assaults that are occurring on THEIR campuses.

Just like it did at Penn State

The only way to make them pay attention is to arrest those who knew for aiding and abetting, or for the same crime. They metaphorically guard the door allowing this crime to continue. A get away driver is held just as responsible for a crime as those who commit it. Even Dylan Roof's friend was held responsible for what he knew before hand and did not report it.
