What next?

If meuller shrugs and the investigation is closed what is the next line of defense, election?

Really what else is there?
Obviously his policies are something to confront.
But, is the hopes of a blue wave all that remains?

I mean even if republicans lose control of congress, what could democrats do that would survive a veto. I don't think there is any doubt that Trump will veto his way through the rest of his term.

Anyway,
What Next vIf Meuller is unable to produce a real shot at impeachment.

So far the FBI investigation has resulted in 2 guilty pleas and 2 indictments! And those are just the ones we know about at this point.

All the naysayers need to CALM THE F*CK DOWN!!!

It would take a majority of the House and 66 Senators to impeach Traitor don. Not gonna happen!

Jesus, there's a whole Wikipedia page devoted to all the reasons why Republicans talked about impeaching Obama, eight years worth. And not all of them together rises to the level of a single thing Donald Trump has done in the last year! How many republican senators do you hear talking about impeachment?

if we play our cards right, we will get another wave election in 2020 (as well as in 2018) and republicans will take a major hit and we'll be in a position to start to fix things in 2021.

if we lose our momentum, republicans (maybe donnie, maybe someone else) might be able to steal the white house 2020 as well, even if we keep control of congress. ugh.

If you've been following the story it's pretty obvious he has a LOT. Mueller is clearly not going to "shrug." Odd that you would even consider that possibility.

in things going as expected or hoped for. Not odd at all . I just think having a backup plan is always a good idea

7. If Mueller...

I hate to say it, but in a democratic system, if the team investigating cant bring forth enough evidence to warrent impeachment, then yes, the election is and should be the only means for removal. Otherwise, we're talking about military coups or assasination, neither of which are an option in democratic systems. Personally I'm not expecting for Trump to be removed from office. I fully expect to have to defeat him in 2020. Maybe its just my way of not getting disappointed, but I'm not hinging on Mueller to save us.

And I'm not talking about voting or signing petitions, but putting our asses on the street and on the line.

Bring down the conspirators in Congress and then go for the Gang of Trump.
