Trump and Hope Hicks

Everyone who comes into the orbit of the Trump crime family ends up with their life ruined. Hope Hicks allegedly said "Donald Jr. emails will never get out" in the context of the Trump Tower meeting. Hope Hicks is now in legal jeopardy for obstruction of justice and being part of a conspiracy to cover up a crime.

What is it that people are so willing to risk their futures to be around this despicable man? I just don't get the hold he has on people.

These people aren’t street smart. None of them will go down protecting Trump. They’ll lie until they can’t anymore. Just like coffee boy George

the entire GOP has done a 180. Their careers are on the line and they are retiring in droves. I do not understand why they pledge their loyalty to him and then he doesn't ever give any in return. He throws them under the bus in a heartbeat.

It doesn't make sense. They took Dirty Russian Money in 2016 for campaigns but last year and they were all, "Gung ho...let's get those Russians" so why the change?

I would have done everything in my power to encourage her to resign last spring. I had enough information back then to know anyone in IMPotus’ orbit were at high risk to either ruin their career potential at best and at risk for prison at worst.

She seems bright and she's beautiful - she could have anything in this world yet she latches onto the Trumps. Now she might be looking at jail time.

...or anyone else who thought it was a good idea to make a career out of being Trump's spittoon?

Everything that was widely known about the man before he was even elected should have been enough for decent people to shun him. Money, power, and influence flows through even well-intentioned White Houses, and Trump attracts fellow grifters and white supremacists like flies to shit.
