1. Why would the wikipedia page disappear?

It's inconceivable to me that the wikipedia page on a currently prominent person in the news would "disappear." Do you really mean that some salacious detail inserted by someone will disappear because it isn't true/verified/unbiased/whatever?

2. No. I meant that someone could change the page to say something it does

not now say or to delete information it now conveys.

It's Wikipedia. I hope you read it.

Hard to take Page seriously after reading that.

And the page suggests that Trump's idea of foreign policy is: close to Russia and hard on Islamic terrorists but the rest of the world doesn't matter much.

Nothing wrong with being hard on terrorists, but Trump's team had little other expertise. Russia and Islamic extremists. Sounds like Russia's choice of foreign policy for the US to me.

3. Large scale edits are noticed pretty quickly on Wikipedia

and with a potentially contentious subject like him, they will often freeze it at a 'pre-edit fight' stage if one starts. The full history is always available to everyone.

4. His page is downright shocking to me. How could Trump have chosen him

for his small circle of advisors on foreign policy?

There is a world of talented experts on foreign policy out there. This guy?

5. Most people with talent realise what a disaster Trump is

and don't want to empower him, or ruin their own reputation by association. Or they know he won't listen to good advice if it doesn't benefit him personally.

Plus Trump can be fooled by people determined to do it. Manafort comes into the same bracket - have you read The Atlantic article on him from a few days ago?

7. Pretty bad, but this Page is really something.

He just stumbles all over himself throughout his life.

What a sad bumbler of a man.

Doesn't stop him from being corrupt. Just, oh, my.

As a mother, it's hard for me to imagine someone who does what he does to himself over and over. Did you read the page?

He bumbles and stumbles through life.

8. He's been reported on a lot for awhile. None of this looks inconsistent

with the news about him. It looks like he's made his calculated choices. Not all crime pays off.

10. Maybe he's an incompetent loon, but if that's true he could still be dangerous

The current administration and its flock of followers in the House and Senate seem to regard incompetence, not as a bug, but as a feature, when it comes to governing
