It's very comfortable if one just wants to be happy living the life of teenager where if you just do your chores and the work that's expected, you get lots of atta-boys and an allowance and can still live comfortably and semi-autonomously at home with Mom and Dad taking care of the big stuff for you.

Growing up, making your way around a huge, impersonal world, and taking responsibility is hard, scary, and fraught with failure.

Many of their hometowns are like New York City compared to mine.

I'm not really sure what it was that made me different. But I know for a fact that rural, white, Christian people are capable of seeing the light.

I have no idea what the solution is. But it proves that moving the democratic agenda to the middle won't help.

And it’s my experience with them as well. And I live in a republican rural county of Michigan.
