I've been trying to find diagrams and such to explain this to me.

So, I see the car is inside the rocket, but how is the unobstructed view that we see in the live feed taking place? I'm being super dense.

Thanks in advance.

The cone fell back to Earth (they have been trying to recover them). The car's sitting on top of the booster exposed to space with cameras pointing at it.

Technically it may not yet succeed on the trip to Mars because the booster has to fire one more time.

The opening scene from Heavy Metal come to life. Unbelievable. Can’t help but hear the song Radar Rider in my head.

... and is a big sci-fi fan. His mission appears to be making sci-fi sci-fact.

I'm cool with that.
