(10,828 posts)A full frontal assault. Which is what Dems need to do--not let the Trumpster or his acolytes get away with the 'he was only kidding' excuse or a 'tongue-in-cheek' defense.
The man and his comments should be excoriated at every level. And those who defend the indefensible? Should receive the same treatment.

(10,828 posts)we're approaching an existential moment. We either believe in a Constitutional Republic and the Rule of Law. Or we don't.
The Trumpster and his complicit acolytes clearly believe in the Rule of Trump. These two perspectives cannot occupy the same space at the same time.
I hate to coin any phrase of GW's but the time is coming: you're either with us (the Rule of Law) or you're agin us. There's no in-between. No Quarter.
