Who knew? It seems many of his films go against the authoritarian borg mentality of most Republicans. I wonder how he justifies that one.

on edit: Are you sure about Lynch's politics? I googled up this quote "I’m a Democrat now. And I’ve always been a Democrat, really. 14. There's only one person who can really play Mueller

In 1955, the movie To Hell and Back was released. It is the story of Audie Murphy, who earned every award for valor the US Army had during World War II. This fuckin' guy singlehandedly held off an entire company of German infantry with a .50-caliber machine gun for a full hour while standing in a burning vehicle, for which he earned the Medal of Honor. What I find interesting is he earned only three Purple Hearts.

When Hollywood decided to make a movie out of his memoirs, they felt the only man who could properly play Audie Murphy was Audie Murphy himself.

I'd cast Robert Mueller in the role of Robert Mueller.
