If he could have fired Mueller he would have

by this time.

IMO there exists a legal equivalent of a Doomsday Device which prevents the dismissal. This might involve the immediate execution of NY or MD state charges which are pending against his entire family and extended family with the possible exception of Tiffany, whose mother wisely kept her away from her father.

This is why he’s chafing and going (even more) insane (if that’s possible).

This is my theory which belongs to me and is mine too. (With apologies to the Monty Python group)

I think he’d have fabricated some ridiculous story and just done the deed. He requires no logical rationale imo. But your point is taken.

6. Wasn't it discussed here that Mueller is info sharing with New York State?

I haven't seen it mentioned in a while. Recently someone here was even questioning if that was true. But I'm pretty sure that there were links to a legit news story about the sharing.

So if it's true, then Trump ought to be very cautious. As in, "Be afraid. Be very afraid." territory. Imo, your theory is plausible.

To them, he is the most honest person in Washington and the media can't stand it because he tells the truth. They actually believe that.
