There are groups I have stood back and watched for about 4 years.

A few years ago I heard a story about a guy that wanted to get a big rally of gun owners to meet in Virginia. They were all to bring their guns and march across a bridge into D.C. Woe to anyone that tried to stop them. The plan was for doing it on the 4th of July. Yes, the whole idea was as stupid as it sounded. He made appearances on infowars. He had his own blog for awhile. To be honest, I don't remember his name. He ended up sneaking into D.C. and waving a gun around. He taped it and snuck back out of town before anyone found him. After awhile ( I think weeks) his house was raided in Virginia. He ended up in jail. The last I remember of his jail time was he was being mistreated because his cell had ants.
That whole soap opera made me interested in those like minded groups. I found a couple sites I check in on from time to time. Infowars is a place to see someone foam at the mouth. He brought us the 'Jade Helm' conspiracy a couple years ago. They actually had like minded lunatics following the military training, filming trains carrying U.N. vehicles from the factories to ports because the U.N. was planning on invading the U.S. The Texas government (of course) set up a task force to keep an eye on our military.
Sorry this is so long. The point is that for the last couple of years I have been checking in on the 'Oathkeepers' and the '3%ers'. Both groups go on about protecting our country from enemies both foreign and domestic. I stopped into those sites today. There was no mention of us being attacked by Russia. There is no mention of the risk to our free elections. I have no idea of where their version of the constitution was written. They were going on about how anyone dare think our journalist need protection. They are more than willing to stand on our southern border and shoot anyone that moves. The Russian investigation is just picking on tHRUMP.
If you want the fear of God and fear for our country, those are some places to see what the future could be.

that anyone not 100% white is foreign. Russia is ok because they are supporting and funding them. It is not so much where you were born as it is the color of your skin.

although not breaking it into paragraphs made it a bit of a slog. Ants.

These people are scary, and there are far more of them than of our noisy left-wing "revolutionaries," but they're still a minority and even most conservatives don't like what they're selling.

On November 6 we take control of hopefully both houses of congress, and importantly some more state legislatures and governorships. Then we start turning this back around. Restoring feelings of security and hope for the future is necessary to calming the fear and uncertainty that got these whackadoodles leaping out of their lawn chairs in the first place.

We should be well along in that right now, of course. Sigh.
