GOP is now openly admitting they will destroy SS, Medicare and so on and these people, none of whom are rich or less than 1% are, are voting FOR them

Considering it's traditionally a red district, it's likely those are mostly republican voters who didn't want to vote Democrat, but wanted to voice their displeasure with the current climate. Likely helped Good.
