the federal government - especially places like Defense, State, IRS, the various intelligence agencies, etc - needs a massive upgrade in the quality of their computer systems and phone/internet security. Unfortunately, I think funding for these sorts of upgrades is usually either blocked by Republicans, or cut down dramatically enough that it amounts to spitting into a volcano. Sort of like how cutting embassy security led to Benghazi.
