Thank you to all the kind DU friends who gave me hearts!

I am truly overwhelmed and very grateful - not only that my fellow DUers thought of me, but that I've found a community of kindred spirits who have taught me so much over the years and has helped me survive the rough times!

And if you see a DUer who may have been overlooked because they're not a prolific poster, please think of them because, as we've seen these past days, you never know what they could be going through or how much your thoughtfulness could mean. I've always said that DUers are the most generous folks on earth - and heart week proves it every year!

And I was late acknowledging the hearts - I have to say I was a little overwhelmed! I have been posting more recently, mostly the late night comedians to offer a little humor in these dire times, so I guess I was more noticeable.

And I'm sitting here with my own pup snoring beside me, but I couldn't resist the heart puppies!

What they do for us in these trying days.

We adopted a doxie mix rescue in August 2016, a month after we moved to a new place we (husband) had built bc resale ones were not right or they would have due diligence on them like almost b4 being put on market!??

We got tired of chasing around.

I have a spare room loaded w/ unpacked boxes that I shut the door on! One of these days......

Our little dogga daughter keeps us on our toes. She's princess here and I'd have it no other way!

I enjoy your postings. You are deserving of hearts galore!

Take care, dear one...

I've mostly had two dogs in my life, but now I have both a dog and a cat. My dog is Jack, he's a Brussels Griffon, a pet shop rescue, and now I have Felix, found him as a kitten in a grocery store parking lot three years ago and he's grown into a beautiful cat. They really do help keep me from going off the deep end.

Your pup sounds adorable and she was so fortunate to find you. You'd think the little ones would be easier to handle, but they sometimes can be awfully demanding!

Thanks so much for the kind words...
