(146,286 posts)more value than ducks. Punishment is proportional. Capital punishment is a matter of jurisdiction. Most of the world has stopped using capital punishment. Only some backwards states still use it. I abhor capital punishment and reject it as a method unequivocally.

a buyback/exchange program for existing guns with large capacity and/or removable magazines. we could ban transfer/sale of "old" guns meeting this criteria, then eventually pry them from the cold dead hands of their original owners.
