I may be wrong but it seems to me that law enforcement officers should be screaming about the type of weapons available to the public. Semi automatic , bumb stops, body armor, extended magazines etc. I don't see any outrage from that community. I may be wrong . If there any officers reading this I'd like to hear your opinion.

(3,194 posts)Law enforcement are mostly pro-gun, owing to the fact many of them carry their own weapons, and would not want that right infringed upon.
Certainly there are some who see what tragedy can result from guns, but their voices are mostly drowned out by the pro-gun police who have the full support of the NRA.

(1,914 posts)and military are pro gun. Most everyone I served with in Iraq own at least 1 or 2 semi auto rifles now. Some of guys at my local VFW do as well, but it seems to be a more common thing with newer vets.
