Can't Trump "speak from the heart" ?

He read his comments (poorly) today about the Florida school shooting.

Can't he just talk for a couple minutes, unscripted?
It would be more meaningful than something someone else wrote and he parroted.

I had a Trumpster yesterday bragging about how he gave the whole SOTU from memory, from the heart. Never had a note, but he can't say 2 sentences without notes.
