No. you can not see that photo of Trump signing gun bill

A little over a month after his inauguration, on Feb. 28, 2017, President Trump signed HJ Resolution 40, a bill that made it easier for people with mental illness to obtain guns. CBS News then asked the White House to release the photograph of Mr. Trump signing the bill, making the request a total of 12 times.

—White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders finally responded to repeated emails and phone calls with a one-line note on April 19, 2017, writing to CBS News, “We don’t plan to release the picture at this time.”

Trump signed the bill into law without a photo op or fanfare.
The president welcomed cameras into the oval office Tuesday for the signing of other executive orders and bills.
News that the president signed the bill was tucked at the bottom of a White House email alerting press to other legislation signed by the president.

It happened and the repercussions of it are real, photographic evidence or not. It’s still a fact and it still will be brandied against Republicans during the election.

That’s on this WH for both doing such an asinine thing out of spite and then making this shooting about mental illness instead of our ever growing gun problem here in the US.

Unfortunately, due to a 2009 appeals court decision the White House is not subject to FOIA, but the records are subject to the Presidential Records Act (makes records public 5 years after the President leaves office).
