WASHINGTON, Feb 16 (Reuters) - The FBI said on Friday that a tip it received about accused Florida shooter Nikolas Cruz should have caused him to be assessed as a threat, but proper protocols were not followed and the information was not sent to its Miami office for follow-up. <p>
"Under established protocols, the information provided by the caller should have been assessed as a potential threat to life. The information then should have been forwarded to the FBI Miami field office, where appropriate investigative steps would have been taken," the FBI said in a statement. "We have determined that these protocols were not followed." (Reporting by Susan Heavey and David Alexander)

(24,207 posts)That's the story here. Trump told the FBI to spend all of their resources on brown people.
Don't make excuses for incompetence, unless you want it to continue.

(24,207 posts)Incompetence on the FBI's part, no doubt, but Trump is the one who set their agenda tom exclude White Supremacists.

The tip came in from his friend who said he had guns and was talking about shooting up a school. The failed to refer it to the Miami FBI field office.
They fucked up. Quit making excuses for them because you hate Trump.

(24,207 posts)Cruz's own social media posts were filled with White Supremacist rants. All the police have said is they don't have proof he trained with the local White Supremacy group called ROF.
They received 2 tips, neither of which was addressed.
And no, I didn't see anything about rants. Maybe you could share those links.
