I think Mueller/Rosenstein may have just bought their investigation some life insurance.

How are the R's going to justify firing either one of them anytime soon?

45* may not care about the optics of screwing other women but he does care about the optics of collusion. If he fires Rosenstein / Mueller now it will certainly look like he's obstructing justice bigtime, and siding with the Russians.

Also, McConnell, Ryan, Nunes and others are looking mighty suspicious today.

avoiding the Media.

Frank Luntz will be getting a lot of overtime pay this Weekend.

When the Rethugs go to some Criminal Governor to attack the FBI ,well, that is a panic move.

4. I think so. But for time being, all we've got is some Ruskies indicted for tampering started long

before trump was a candidate. So, trump can say "No collusion."

I don't think that helps us much.

5. It makes it MUCH, MUCH HARDER for Trump to fire Rosenstein or Mueller now.

That helps us a lot. It buys us time for Mueller to continue on his investigation, collecting information that will prove collusion.

6. Maybe. I don't think trump was going to fire trump once indictments started coming it and that

was some time ago. Most of conspiracy theories about trump firing Mueller were started by the same people who have been predicting Mueller would be fired every weekend since last May.

I'm feeling more and more like Fitzmas.

7. There has been HEAVY pressure to fire Rosenstein, all centered around the Nunes memo.

And if Rosenstein was fired, then a replacement could tie Mueller's hands -- without actually firing him -- in the investigation.

Now Rosenstein has been given a new lease on life. They can't fire him now because it will look like they ARE colluding with the Russians.

This is NOTHING like Fitzmas. There have already been two guilty pleas and two other indictments -- one of which is probably about to become a 3rd guilty plea.

And Adam Schiff, ranking member of the House Intelligence committee, says they have seen an "abundance" of evidence of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign. Mueller has all that evidence and more.

8. There has been heavy fear and a bunch of conjecture. Scooter was guilty, but sentence was commuted.

Look, I hope I'm wrong. But we are approaching a year of investigation and nothing tying trump to anything. His son-in-law maybe, maybe one or two kids, but if they have evidence, it's time to release it. Schiff is cool and he is doing exactly what I'd expect a Democrat to do. But, what he says will not indict/impeach trump. It's just a fact, and I'm not happy about it.

10. No, it's not time to release it. We won't be better off if this goes to

the House we currently have and the House votes against impeachment.

This is like a Mafia investigation -- which Mueller has successfully prosecuted, when he got John Gotti's conviction. Those prosecutions take time. And the case has to be rock solid.

11. The trump supporters we need to convert will just laugh at us if Mueller can't get impeachment.

And if there was something so heinous it would convert white wingers, it would have been bad enough to release before now.

Again, I hope I'm wrong. If I am, remind me and I will not only eat crow, but I'll eat crow dung and chase it with Mescal.

or voted 3rd party, thinking it didn't matter.

And we need to win back at least one House of Congress -- which this indictment could help with, because it will put pressure on the R's to support reforms that will make our elections safer.

If we win at least one House, then we will have control of ifs committees. And when Mueller comes forth with his report, our committees will be able to dig into it and then push for impeachment.

9. Trump won that Post Office Project in DC in 2013. He knew he was running for president then.

He may not have known he was going to win in 2013 (and maybe he did know then) that if
he ran he would have the support of Putin. Everyone knew that Hillary was running and we now know that Putin would have done anything to defeat her.

In 2013, the U.S. General Services Administration leased the property for 60 years to a consortium headed by "DJT Holdings LLC", a holding company that Donald Trump owns through a revocable trust.[2] Trump developed the property into a luxury hotel, the Trump International Hotel Washington, D.C., which opened in September 2016.[3][4]
