From Sunday’s 07 Sept. 2008, 11:48:04 EST, Televised “Meet the Press” the then Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Ginn, USAF (ret.), asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn’t follow protocol when the National Anthem is played......

Obama continued:, “The National Anthem should be ‘swapped’ for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song ‘I’d Like To Teach the World To Sing.’ If that were our anthem, then I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as ‘redesign’ our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It’s my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of warring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails – - – perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments …….”
“When I become President, I will seek a pact of agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts . We as a Nation, have placed upon the nations of Islam, an unfair injustice,which is WHY my wife disrespects the Flag, and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past.”

I mean Come On, Comrade.

Since I actually know people who have made broad reference to junk along these lines, maybe you do too. Instead of fainting from frustration, here's what I learned: Meet the Press has archives going back to 2003. Very cool!

Guess this was a huge deal when it first surfaced. Google returns almost 18,000 hits for "General Bill Ginn+Obama" So, big lie.

It's a little spooky to come across it again. These people walk among us. They drive and shop and do laundry. They have children and this one guy, at least, has the ability to create a website. And they vote. How did this crazy get to be so so big?

1. That's because NBC scrubbed the transcripts because they are communists as well.

All the media is controlled by communists, don't you know? They probably even created a videotape of a whole fake show to replace the original Ginn/Obama discussion.

There is no proof that is immune to their delusions. But send around an unsourced email that sounds like what their perception of Obama would say, and by God, it's a proven fact.
