Elon Musk's tunnel-digging company, his futuristic, high-speed transportation system that would travel between New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and D.C., WashPost reports.
What's next: The Boring Company is now allowed to begin digging and excavating in a portion of the parking lot at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. A Boring Company spokesman told WashPost that a New York Avenue location, if constructed, could
become a station.

...I don't know about DC, MD, DE or NJ, but here in NY, property rights extend to the center of the earth. Drilling underneath buildings, no matter how deep, will require agreements with each owner of time-consuming eminent domain.
