People are calling out bullshit arguments and ridiculing politicians' lack of response and independent groups have been collecting data on shootings by aggregating media reports over time. More people know someone who is affected by mass shootings. I work in a place that has had a mass shooting a few years ago before I got here. I work with people who were there at the time. The numbers of people affected by these tragedies are growing.
