Trump Reportedly Dined with Geraldo Rivera Before Tweetstorm Lashing Out Over Russia

Last night, before the start of his big Russia tweetstorm, President Trump reportedly dined with Geraldo Rivera.

A Washington Post report this morning recaps what the President was doing and thinking about one day after meeting with survivors of a horrific school shooting:

Trump, ensconced at Mar-a-Lago, has so far stayed away from the golf course even though the weather has been sunny and almost 80 degrees — in what aides describe as showing respect for the 17 people killed in a school shooting in Florida last week.

The president has instead spent much of his time watching television and tweeting, aides said. After a string of tweets Saturday afternoon, he dined with talk-show host Geraldo Rivera and the president’s two adult sons before returning to his quarters for more posts.

Geraldo Rivera: Trump Was ‘Deeply Affected by His Visit’ With Shooting Survivors

Geraldo Rivera, who dined with President Trump last night, tweeted today about the President’s state of mind after meeting with survivors of the horrific Parkland school shooting.

Following a Washington Post report about Rivera dining with the President, the Fox Newser took to Twitter to say this:

Student survivors of the shooting are leading calls for lawmakers to seriously take action on guns. The President has mostly been tweeting about Russia this weekend, but Rivera also tweeted this today after speaking with him last night:
