Am I wrong or are there two types of trump voters/supporters?

There are the Evil (racists, bigots.....)

And there are Fools (suckered by Russian propaganda and lies).

I'm not sure which is worse but when I've confronted family and parents they take offense at being called Fools more than being called a Bigot or other synonym of Evil.

The "I've always voted republican" argument falls under the Fool category as far as I'm concerned.

Am I missing another category of trump voter?

Many who are A are also B.

And you needn't label them fools or bigots or evil, to their faces anyway. I think that'll just turn them off, even if all of them are true and you can support those claims. That said, it is foolish for someone to vote for one party over the other simply because that's the way they've always done it. That's a weak argument, to fall back upon because they know they cannot support why they vote the way they do. For those people, you can add them to a fourth category, the vindictive. They know they may qualify for A and/or B, but because you're X and they hate people who are X, they will vote for conservative republicans out of spite, just to see the pain it brings to you...even if it bring pain to them too.

the ‘pragmatic ideologue’ – rightwing extremists and true believers who privately don’t like Trump, see him as a mere figurehead, and understand he’s not fit to be president, but voted for him and support because he’s a Republican, because they believe the WH is their ‘birthright,’ who correctly understand that Trump really doesn’t make policy decisions, that the true decision-makers are fellow rightist ideologues pursuing their failed, wrongheaded agenda.

And most important to them are judicial appointments – appointments to the Supreme Court in particular.

Be very afraid of gay people turning your children gay. Be very afraid of Muslims they want sharia law in America. Be very afraid of Mexicans taking away your jobs. Be very Afraid of black people turning your neighborhoods into slums. Be very afraid of people who Value knowledge over ignorance. Be very Afraid of atheists who question your beliefs. Be very afraid of the mainstream media, don't listen to anything they say. Be very afraid of liberals who want progress. You must be very afraid of change. Remember only republicans and guns can protect you against these fears.
If you vote republican you don't have to be afraid anymore. Only Republicans and Guns can protect you.
