they'll be calling for vouchers for military schools soon...I'm surprised privatization hasn't come up yet. I think they're still reeling from seeing all of these kids denounce their ideology.

this year and next and they are not going to register to the same repug party blocking their efforts to get guns out of psychopaths.
They're going register as Democrats who will help us get repugs and "agent orange" out of office.

"Home-schooling" allowed the Turpins to imprison 13 children for years without anyone knowing the kids even existed. Of course, there are some RWNJs who think that's good-- that parents should have the "freedom" to do what they want to their kids without any pesky government interferers like teachers noticing.
(Most homeschoolers do not of course do this... but one enormous advantage of public schools is that there are responsible non-parent adults involved in the kids' lives, just in case.)

Most homeschooling goes just fine, producing ignorant people who can't function in a normal society.
