I heard yesterday that Parkland is in a Republican area. But their Congressman is a Dem.

Can not speak for the city of Parkland but Broward County is a Democratic Powerhouse.

I'm sure that might skew some in favor of Republicans, definitely moreso than other parts of Broward County, but overall I don't know how it votes. There are upper income whites who do vote Democrat, and there are still a sizable share of minorities living there too who might also be more inclined to vote for Democrats.
Ted Deutch, a Democrat, is Parkland's representative. And as you saw last night, he has them in excellent hands.

Also Palm Beach County and Dade County. Many wealthy people in all 3 counties but vast majority of all voters are Democratic.
