Teachers are not security guards, police, swat teams or ICE agents.

Their primary job is difficult enough without adding additional job layers that have nothing to do with nurturing and supporting learning.

Yet the right wing in this country wants to keep piling on these additional duties even as they cut the basic supports necessary to achieve learning goals.

This madness needs to stop.
