America for a number of years now. Dozens of companies make them and they fly off shelves. Its not surprising one would be auctioned.

A conceal carry amendment was on the ballot and voted down. Afterwards, the state legislature passed a law for it.

No indication the NRA had a hand in this.

That said, it will do what he wants, get press/publicity and cement the view that he stands with gun owners. For him it is a winning approach though it clearly would not play well in most of CA or New York.
