A nation of immigrants? YES! Dad's father from Switzerld, his mom's family from Swtzld, Germany

Mom's mother's family settled VA, KY, MO from east. Her father's family were decades in western NC, coming from the east.

Both sides of my family have been in US for a long time. But there's no Native American heritage on either side, so MY FAMILY IS AN IMMIGRANT FAMILY.

Agriculture extracts far more calories per square mile than hunting and gathering, so during the 18th and 19th centuries European agriculturalists displaced native hunter gatherers in North America, parts of South America, Australia,South Africa, New Zealand and a few other places.

However, there are no longer large geographies occupied by hunter gatherers to displace.
