So many good scenes from that movie. Did you know that Eli Wallach almost got decapitated in that scene where he cuts his chains by letting the train roll over them? They had the scene all worked out, but they forgot about the little steps used to get on and off the cars. You can tell he isn't acting in that scene as he backs slowly away from the train with his eyes shut tight.

Here's a site that tells all about the horrors he had working on that film....but it was worth it!
