pistols I think. But she did this just by talking through both weapons. Saying the velocity of the bullets and damage done. I'm happy she was able to describe that - but I think what would be more effective is if they actually filmed a demonstration of the weapons.
Maybe fire into a watermelon or a side of beef - to illustrate what each weapon does to its target.
Show the entry point and the exit point. Listen to the sound of the weapon going off, etc.
It's one thing to learn a bit about these weapons - but a picture (in this case a video) is worth a 1000 words.
So my suggestion here is to put a video presentation together - firing different types of weapons to illustrate the noise generated by the weapon and the resulting damage.
