I just heard on my local news that FedEx doubled down on its support for NRA.

I'll never use them again nor will I shop at any online retailers that exclusively use them.

Each time we copy, fax, print, etc. with a FedEx competitor, and each time we ship with a FedEx competitor.

They’ll get the message.

4. My note to FedEx

Just sent this, not that it will get beyond the customer service department, but still. . . .

I am writing to cancel my FedEx account. As you can see from the limited use of my account, this will not be a great loss to FedEx. (In contrast, I spend an average of $8,000 annually with UPS and USPS.)

However, I am disturbed by the FedEx relationship with the domestic terrorist organization, NRA. Yes, you have an established track record of charitable support. That's fine. But there's a difference between charitable giving (in any form) and a relationship with an organization whose stated goal is arming every American with every weapons imaginable. I wouldn't classify this group as charitable in any sense of the word. And you shouldn't either.

I will grant that my decision to terminate my account is largely symbolic, but it is important to me. I hope other FedEx customers will do the same, and I will ask my suppliers to ship with other carriers.

FedEx subcontracts a lot of business to the USPS, which can deliver much less expensively. (!)

I hope we see a lot of that logo on posters at the March 24th - March For Our Lives.

FedEx can eat dog shit as long as they support a terrorist organization.
